So, your filepicker just crashed. Firefox is blocked to death and IE disapears... Windows mysteries... You cannot donwload anything by right click... You are going insane etc... Here's the solution. No need to format or do anything extremely dangerous or geeky.
Your microsoft windows has just moved your desktop!!!!!!!!!!! It should be at
C:Documents and settings/User/Desktop but it isn't anymore !!!!!!!
Mine was in a file of "My pictures-photos" I do not have a clue why. One thing I'm sure about: I did not do it!!!
Just cut it (the "desktop" file) and put it back under your user profile. Restart, and everything should be back to normal.
Ofcourse: I'm not responsible for any catastrophy, loss of data, PC explosion, that may happen if you follow my solution.
But if you simply do what I'm telling (find your "desktop" file and put it back in your profile "user" file) Everything should work normally again.
If you DO follow my solution, and correct your filepicker crash problem, please 2 clicks: 1. do visit "my professionnal website" (link at the bottom and mail me from there to inform me) and 2. click on any google ad link (its free for you but I may get something one day!)
